Mr. Frank James Toothman age 92 of Wallace, NC, died on April 19, 2015 at Brian Center Health & Rehab in Wallace, NC. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 2:00 at Wallace Presbyterian Church conducted by the Dr. Philip Gladden and the Rev. Brad Carter. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Toothman is survived by his wife, Margaret P. Toothman of the home, four sons, James Toothman and wife Debbie of West Virginia, Kyle Toothman and wife Phyllis of Four Oaks, NC, Joe Toothman and wife Paula of Greenville, NC and Todd Toothman and wife Jessica of Maryland, his daughter, Jane Hardee and husband Steve of Greenville, NC, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, his loving sister, Alice of Pittsburgh, PA and several nieces and nephews.
Frank was born on July 17, 1922 in Greenwood County, Kansas to the late Okey G. and Mabel Snider Toothman.
Frank served as a principal and a teacher. He loved photography and was a writer and photographer for the local newspapers. He also loved filming and was a member of the Wallace Rotary Club and served his country in the Marines.
